Marco Silva will leave Fulham this summer after five years as head coach, the club announced on Wednesday, departing as their most successful Premier League manager by win percentage. T1 - Premier League official

The Portuguese coach leaves with a win rate of 38.2 per cent across his Fulham tenure, the highest of any manager in the club’s Premier League history. In an open letter to supporters, Silva said: “To our fans, I asked you, from day one, to always be with us. We achieved a lot.”

Fulham did not specify whether Silva had resigned or had his contract terminated. No timeline for appointing a successor was given, though the vacancy is expected to attract significant interest given the club’s stability and resources under owner Shahid Khan.

Silva guided Fulham to promotion from the Championship in 2022 and consolidated the club in the Premier League across three subsequent seasons, steering them to mid-table finishes each year. His tenure included a run to the 2024 FA Cup semi-final and an EFL Cup campaign that reached the quarter-finals in 2025.

The club’s statement thanked Silva for his “dedication and professionalism” but did not elaborate on the circumstances of the departure. No replacement has been identified. Fulham’s board is understood to want the process completed before pre-season begins in late June.
